Omari Sirazhudinovich Akhmedov (born October 12, 1987) is a Russian professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division. He previously fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Professional Fighters League (PFL).

LEAD: The Cooper Companies said that its Coopervision group had received approval from the Food and Drug Administration to begin marketing the first ultraviolet light-blocking contact lenses in the United States. Cooper, which is based in Palo Alto, Calif., has been marketing the Permaflex UV lenses in Canada, West Germany and Britain for the last year.
